Greetings to all.

I'm trying to send OSC messages (via Csound) from an Asus Android 5.0
Tablet ('MemoPad') to a 2011 Macbook Pro over my home network and I'm
having no joy.

I successfully set this scenario up using a Hauwei Android 4.5.5 cell phone
using the same method.

I have exhausted all options in the setting of the tablet, I think.

If anyone who is familiar with sending OSC messages from an android tablet
would like to point me in the right direction here I'd be much obliged.

Just one more thing, how does one subscribe to the
http://opensoundcontrol.org forum? I can't find an option anywhere.

Many thanks!

Martin

Are you able to send UDP packets from your Android (assuming you are using
UDP) to another program.

I cannot help you with Android. However, you may be able to track down the problem with wireshark [1], it has an OSC
dissector [2] since version 1.12.0. If you should send SLIP encoded OSC via TCP, you'll need the most recent version 2.0.2.
