[OSC_dev] cnmat externals windows 8 support?

Hi all,

I'm getting some reports that the opensoundcontrol object for Max/MSP
doesn't work on Windows 8. I am trying to steer clear from Windows 8 myself
as much as possible, but one of you may have given it a try?

Thanks for the alert.

We don't use the opensoundcontrol external any more at CNMAT.
We use our "o." externals and abstractions instead.

By the end of the summer we will deprecate opensoundcontrol providing an abstraction to simulate its function
using "o.".

We occasionally test our externals on Windows 7 but currently have no Windows 8 machine to test on.
These problems will be somewhat alleviated by the end of the year as we push all the source out on Github and the community can test and
maintain on Windows.
